to be completely honest i naturally eat around 1k a day, now im tyring to limit it to 800 so im restricting only a little bit compared to what would be my normal desired intake so im not struggling much so please keep that in mind because if your desidere intake is highet than mine it could be harder for you but i guess these are a few things i think could help you:

don't overcomplicate it - like you said my meals are rather easy and simple (a yoghurt bowl, salads, some kind of protein rich thing like cream cheese or vegan meat alternatives or roasted chickpeas with veggies) it's because i really really love cooking and im always tempted to try more and more complicated recipes but i know they would never be as low in cal as the simple things i make so i try to stick to the simple, no prep/v little prep meals. i buy the same ingredients every time i do a restock just to not get tempted into experimenting and making something that would be way over my daily intake limit

i eat what i enjoy - simple as that, i enjoy all of the meals i eat, i dont force myself to eat smth that isn't tasty to me. i know one of the adives people give is to make food an unenjoyable as possible but it doen't work for me, im more likely to binge later so i'd rather eat 1k a day of things i enjoy over eating 500kcal of smth that i dont particualry like and it leaves me craving other things.

follow your own patterns not what other people say - ik ppl tend to advise to not eat in the evening but for me it makes me sleep better (i have some big trauma form my childhood with going to bed hungry and i will have a straigh up panic attack if i get hunger pains if im laying down to sleep, if it's during the day idc but going to sleep? totally different story) and also I prefer doing omad so I'd rather eat later once and have only coffee in the morning than disturb my day flow by forcing myself to eat around noon.

don't lose your mind over 100kcal over - my bmr is around 1600 I try to do 800 a day so I'm already eating half of what I should be eating, if I go 100 over that initial 800 it changes nothing I'll still lose but it might prevent me from a binge. keep some 100kcal foods in your house, something that you know is below 100 so you can eat it without checking how much exactly it is, you dont evne have to log it into your tracker - that will take away some mental workload and the feeling of regret, just be prepared to sacrifice those extra 100 from time to time to keep yourself from binging, it will be better in the long run

not every day is the same - sometimes you'll feel like eating more some less if you would like to you could try not counting dayli but weekly so instead of hitting 1k a day focus on hitting 7k a week. yes yes ik big number scary number but I think it could be less overwhelming. I love to do lists, they help me keep track of things and stay motivated but I can't do daily lists because if I miss even one tasks on it I will get discouraged and drop everything so I do weekly lists instead and I chose what I want to do when, as long as it gets done in the week all is good, some days I feel better and i'll do multiple tasks some of them days ahead of the deadline and some days I feel bad so I don't do anything. eating is similar, some days maybe you'll have to run some errands or maybe you will have to study for a test and you'll need to eat to stay focuses or maybe you'll be meeting with a friend or maybe you'll have food in the fridge you don't want to throw away and waste money - eat more than 1k that day and then try to even it out on another day as long as your average is around 1k a day (again around not under bc that 100kcal over won't kill you I promise) you will be okay

figure our what works for you - I could never be one of those 'multiple smaller meals a day' girls, I swear by my omad bc if I were to eat small portions/snacks multiple times a day every time I'd eat I'd get hungry, that's just how my body works, omad is how I can stay consistent. figure out what works for you, if you prefer one bigger meal or multiple smaller ones; if you prefer warm meals or are cold ones fine; if you prefer meal prepping/planning days in advance or are you a go with the flow kinda person.

all of this will be a trial and error kinda deal so be prepared to struggle a little bit at the beginning but at the end of the day knowing youself and your body will save you, yes take inspiration from other people but at the end of the day you are you and they are them and your journeys wont ever be 1:1 copy of each other.

i hope i helped you at least a little bit, like i said im not altering my 'natural' too much so it's not that big of a struggle to me and now that im posting my wiaiad updates regularly it helps me even more to stay consistent and keep myself accountable. i'd say just try different things, don't throw yourself off to the deep end and start slowly, adapt as you'll be going, ask for help and advice but at the end of the day be prepared to not follow it if it turns out your body is not compatible with it. if you have any more questions feel free to ask and for now i wish you good luck, i hope you have a lovely day, remember to drink your water and stay safe <3

‘He noticed my makeup…’ was the only thought I had in my head when I was leaving the toilets and making my way to the stairs.

It’s already been 6 minutes. The walk from the cafeteria to the stairs was 2 minutes if you walk a bit faster (which he always does). We’ve met here a few times and usually it takes him a maximum of 4 minutes but 6? That’s not normal. I know I’m overreacting but I just have a gut feeling. I decided to walk around the hallway in hopes of meeting him halfway.

‘Maybe a teacher just held him up?’ I thought to myself, trying to reason with his absence.

While walking I heard voices. Being the noisy person I am, I decided to take a peek. The noise was coming from a separate hall that connected the two parts of the school. The voices were two… a girl and a boy. A boy… Wait… that’s \! That’s why he was late. Someone pulled him aside to talk. It was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.

Suddenly something caught my attention.

“-\… I know we’ve only known each other for a few weeks but these few weeks have been the best! I just wanted you to know… I like you! Like a lot!-“

The girl continued to express herself but it all was washed out by that one sentence.

“I like you!”

The weight came back and this time it was suffocating. I don’t know what I was feeling. It wasn’t anger or sadness or even envy. It just… hurts? It hurt the way his name rolled off her tongue, the way she was smiling at him like she already knew the answer to her confession, the way her eyes were filled with what I could only assume as love.

Why was I hurt by this? It’s not like we were together… my crush was ‘nothing serious’. I don’t even know what his response was. My mind just shut out every noise around me. All I could hear was my heartbeat. It’s like I could hear a crack. A crack in the wall I had built myself… or a crack in my heart?

“Ouch”

I whispered underneath my breath. Not really caring if they heard me. I just turned around and walked. It was like I was walking for hours while my thoughts were running wildly. It was almost comical how that one sentence was repeating in my head like a broken record. My feet carried me to class. I sat down in my seat still thinking until ~ and ; sat next to and behind me.

In my defence this has never happened to me before. How am I supposed to know how to react? I was just so stunned that my mind was trying to figure out what emotion to connect to that scenario. It just suddenly hit me at that very moment… it wasn’t a ‘nothing serious’ crush. I actually liked him… a lot… more than whoever that was. I’ve never had an actual crush before. I hate how it feels but at the same time I wouldn't trade it for the world…

Now that I’m thinking about the moment, the confession. Something that I didn’t notice was the way his eyebrows were furrowed. Almost as if questioning her. I don’t know what he said because I left but something about the way he was standing and the way he looked at her didn’t look right. His eyes didn’t hold the wrath the girl in front of him was radiating…

hi! much love to you and your blog <3 i was wondering if u have ever struggled with acne and if so, mind sharing how you managed to get rid of it + your skincare routine?

Omg YES I used to struggle so bad with acne. I had cystic acne all year long, then superficial acne around hormonal moments (ugh... Periods). The photograph at my senior year pic had to ask for an extra $$ to Photoshop it out 😭

For those that don't know, cystic acne is like those spots that etablish themselves DEEP within the skin. You can NEVER pop them out. Trust me I've tried it 😭.

First thing that helped MOST was to never EVER fiddle with the spots. You don't feel them, you don't acknowledge them, you don't touch them, and even less, you NEVER pop them. Let your body do that healing work. If you pop them they risk to go DEEPER into the skin instead of OUT like ppl want it to go. This it worsens your situation and the skin becomes inflamed and worse. And you get scarring. And then the skin becomes more pigmented.

Let it ALONE.

Second thing that helped most was starting this treatment for my cystic acne, called Tactupump in my country. It's an pescription topic antibiotic specifically for skin concerns, like acne, it is pretty harsh and drying, so moisturizing is a MUST. Morning, evening, midday, whenever the skin needs it. In 6 months or something, it went away. I still have some cystic acne spots there and there, I just reapply this treatment for 2 weeks, then once or twice a week at most.

Third thing that helped me most was going off my birth control. I know birth control helps acne for some, and worsens the situation for others. I'm one of those inforunate ones 😅. Wear a CONDOM every time, and track your cycle and avoid having sex around ovulation time, if you don't do BC. Be really careful with this one because it's QUITE risky.

Fourth thing that helped me was simplifying my skincare routine! I used to use like 6-7 different products, in the hopes of removing it, but it only irritated further my skin, and you know, irritation = acne... I scaled it back to only my soft cleanser (spectro), softly scrubbing my skin for at least 2 min so the active ingredients in that cleaner work, then using my Cetaphil sensitive skin serum and moisturizer. I do moisturizing masks there and there, maybe 4 times a week. I also avoid the sun as much as possible, and if I go out in the sun I wear a wide rim hat and sunscreen on my face. Remember, irritation of skin often equals more skin trouble!

Also, if you want to try a new product, introduce it SLOWLY and only if you have your routine going on for a VERY long while. Changing so frequently products will stress your skin.

If you're worried about ageing, sleep&food&stress&excercise habits are going to be way more impactful than not doing that special product. You can't prevent ageing on skincare alone, babe.

Fifth thing was changing up my diet. I scaled back to very safe foods that never caused any sort of inflammatory response in my body. Turns out excess dairy (I eat some cheese there and there, but if I do fondue, hey acne is doing a comeback!), excess sugar, excess chocolate caused me more pimples. Same thing with beef meat somehow.

That said, like personally I do eat meat and I don’t use a menstrual cup like they freak me out and I’ve bought fast fashion before and although I try to much less like I buy tights regularly and those break quickly and are essentially disposable so that’s not nice of me. Because I like… don’t want to. I'm starting 2 play pathologic but I'm scared any tips for how to make the start of the game less impossibly heavy and mortifying (I accidentally started a fight got scared and restarted my game)

HI im typing on  my computer this time bc i wrote likean essay long response to this and tumblr crashed instead of saving this also adding a readmore bc this will get long im sorry.. but thank u so much for sending me this ask i am so excited u r playing pathologic first of all!! i will format this in a numbered list so its a bit easier 2 read...

1. im assuming the fight u started was with the ppl loitering in evas garden, right? this is a v common problem new players face and an intentional obstacle left by the devs to teach u tht u shld avoid confrontation and fighting at all costs when u can help it. the fighting system in this game is intentionally difficult and u will usually die if u get into a fight if u dont have a gun. just leave the guys alone and let them stay and u will be fine. there arent any consequences to this so dont worry!!

2. starting and then restarting the game a few times when ur getting into it is very normal so dnt worry abt that!!! i had to restart my save like 3 times before i got the hang of things, so dont be discouraged. tht being said the game isnt for everyone so if u just consistently are not having fun w it dont force urself to play it!!

3. check out the settings page where it lists all the controls for the game, bc it will show you some mechanics the game nevr tells you about. use Q to open up your quest menu which will show you your overall goal, main quest, and sidequests. the main quest MUST be completed by the end of each day or there will be ingame consequences, so be careful. sidequests are less dire. 

the I key opens up ur inventory!! 

you press E to talk to people

the P key opens up ur status menu iirc. be sure to keep track of that too, but statuses will also pop up in the corner of ur screen when they get actually dire, too, so if u dont check it u wont be completely clueless dw!!

the L key opens up your letters menu. u will get letters from different ppl throughout each day and usually they pertain to the main quest at hand or a sidequest you can do so that you know what youre supposed to be doing each day. whenever you get a letter a spinning icon will pop up in the corner of the screen and the sound of a paper flipping will play, but the game never actually tells u abt it which is a big design flaw on its part.

4. pay attention to the time!! esc or q will pause ur game and pause the flow of time, but opening ur inventory wont. time is a super important aspect of the game so just watch out 4 that.

5. spend all your money on food on day 1. dont bother with eggs or lemons so much as meat, bread, fish, vegetables, and milk to a lesser extent. its important u do this on day 1 for reasons u will find out later.

dont worry abt keeping ur hunger meter completely low tho!! make sure it doesnt max out, but dont try to keep it empty, ull waste food very quickly that way and its a very important resource.

theres also an area in the game near where u start out that has some milk left out near a statue of a woman that you can pick up. raising ur fists in game will make a little dot appear to help you aim for things, and i always use that to focus on what i want to pick up because it can be very difficult otherwise. heres the area im talking about

6. check ur map frequently whenever ur going anywhere!!!! the layout of the town is intentionally confusing and u will get lost without ur map, esp because it shows u quest markers of wherever u need to go. 

the walking in this game is also very slow and tedious. u get used to it but it is a feature of the game so just keep that in mind.

i used this map to keep track of where all the shops in town are because its a bit difficult to tell otherwise and can save time if u need to get stuff (like food and medicine. dont bother with clothes bc theyre honestly useless but clothing stores do sell needles which you should collect for bartering.)

7. bartering is a BIG system in the game and its actually what you use to get a lot of the items youll need. you can barter with pretty much every random npc you see in town, just press E to talk to them! different people will trade for different things and find value in different items, so just pay attention to that! 

look in trash cans and bins located around the town to find useful things you can barter or use yourself, like water bottles. id recommend especially saving items that children will trade for like jewelry, flowers, needles, hooks, sharp objects (like knives and switchblades), and nuts. dont eat the nuts, trade them with children.

8. one child in particular will have an item called “schmowder” on her occasionally. theyre important for reasons that you find out in game later. if she has a schmowder, trade for it, and save it. it costs a lot so save up things this child will trade for. dont use schmowders on yourself, save them for later. the child looks like this.

unrelated but i just think this girls design is sweet. i like her dress :)

9. sometimes characters will give you items for quests. if your inventory is full, the item will drop to the ground in a bag with a thud. watch out for this and be sure to check your inventory and the ground to make sure you actually have the item you need to do a quest.

10. quests can be confusing sometimes, and if u ever feel lost i recommend checking the pathologic wiki for “the bachelor’s route” to find a guide about each quest that happens each day. OR you can just dm me and i can help u if u dont want to risk being spoiled!!! i dont know everything but if i dont know the answer i can just look it up for you since i already know the story of the game.

11. dialogue can also be confusing sometimes, so choose what you say carefully! dialogue trees that you can go back to are usually rare and dont actually happen that much. the dialogue system is also intentionally confusing and tricky. dont be afraid to reload a save file if you want to learn more or see what other dialogue options would have got you.

and thats all i can think of right now??? im sorry this is a lot, i promise the game isnt actually that difficult once you get used to it!!! its just a matter of getting used to the mechanics. lmk if u ever need any help at all :D

do you have some ~easy recipes to make? i want to learn how to cook but i always find myself too tired to make anything when i get home from work /:

hello my friend! so what i find the easiest to throw together is a stir fry bc you can really use any protein and veggies, and it’s usually done in the time it takes to cook the rice. 

here’s my stir fry ~formula:

1. start the rice first, bc it takes longest. i use sticky/sushi rice, but anything will work, and you can also do quinoa/another grain. here’s a rice cooking guide!

2. if you’re using tofu (which i usually do), press it right away to drain the water. i use extra firm tofu, and i wrap it in many paper towels, then i putting a cutting board with a heavy pan/book/whatever i can find on top. extra firm usually only needs 15 mins to press, but it won’t hurt to leave it until you’re ready to cook. you can use chicken/fish/shrimp/beef/pork/etc, whichever’s easiest.

3. cut your vegetables. you can literally use anything! i put garlic in everything, but everything else varies. some ideas: onions or green onions, broccoli, green beans, asparagus, bell peppers, carrots, bok choy, snap peas/snow peas, baby corn, water chestnuts (they come canned!), mushrooms, etc. frozen veggies or the pre-cut packs in the produce section are a good idea if you don’t want to chop or don’t have time. 

4. cook your protein. for tofu, i usually cut it into cubes and coat them in some flour seasoned with whatever spices i feel like (mine is usually salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, and smoked paprika). then i fry it in some vegetable oil. it usually takes like...5 mins on each side, but i generally get lazy and don’t cook every side of every cube lol. you can use pretty much any protein and there’s youtube tutorials for the best way to pan fry all of them. you can also buy a rotisserie chicken from the deli and shred it, or frozen pre-cooked meats, which’ll both save a lot of time.

5. while the tofu/whatever’s cooking, make a sauce. mine is usually a random, unmeasured combination of: soy sauce, honey, some kind of chili sauce (sambal is my fave), garlic powder, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. you can 100% buy a premade stir fry sauce to make your life easier (kikkoman makes good ones, they’re usually in the asian foods section). if you wanna make your own, just start with like...1/3-1/2 cup of soy sauce and add stuff until it tastes good. it’s honestly very hard to mess up. 

6. remove protein from pan and cook veggies. as a general rule, hard vegetables take longest. put stuff like broccoli and asparagus in first, then onions, then softer things like bok choy. if you can’t tell if something’s done cooking, stick a fork in and feel how soft it is. if you still can’t tell, taste it. if you’re using frozen, follow instructions on the package. put the garlic in LAST or else it’ll most definitely burn and you’ll be sad. 

7. put protein back in w the veggies and pour in the sauce. cook it for a few mins to thicken it up. if you want, you can combine a tablespoon of corn starch and a tablespoon of cold water to help it thicken, but i wouldn’t recommend that if you’re gonna eat it again the next day, bc the corn starch makes it kinda gummy later on. 

8. serve over rice. i sometimes add a fried egg on top!

pro home cooks, which used to be called brothers green - he makes, like, everything, but a lot of his vids focus on cheap and easy meals. (i haven’t watched any of his meal prep vids but i bet they’re good)

if you have a day, or even a few hours, every week that you can set aside, you might wanna look into meal prep. you don’t even have to prep entire meals; just pre-cutting all your veggies and portioning them into containers makes cooking after work/school feel so much easier. 

here are some meal prepping youtubers:

mind over munch - i s2g this woman is like the queen of meal prepping. she’s also like way too perky but it’s fine bc her vids are VERY helpful even if you don’t wanna make the exact meals she makes

goodful’s professional meal prepper series - she gets paid to go to ppl’s homes and meal prep for them, and she shares a lot of easy recipes that are good for prepping and also just general tips for the best ways to cook and store stuff!

and finally here’s some easy stuff i make when i’m lazy:

i boil water for pasta, i chop up broccoli into tiny little pieces and throw it in the boiling water with the pasta when there’s like 4 mins left. i drain it, put it back in the pan, and add butter, italian cheese(s), garlic powder or a garlic herb seasoning blend, salt, and pepper. it’s so good.

premade gnocchi with jarred sauce or storebought pesto, served w whatever vegetable will take the least time to cook (i had this today with asparagus lol)

canned salmon burgers! 

tuna & mayo mixed w rice, top w eggs and nori if i have it (thank u @oddesteyecircle)

smashed chickpea salad - i take a can of chickpeas and smash em w a potato masher, then i add mayo, dijon mustard, lemon juice to taste, and whatever spices i feel like (usually salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, cayenne, paprika, turmeric bc i like the color it adds lol). serve on toasted bread w/ whatever you like on sandwiches (i do tomatoes, hima usually does cucumber slices and spinach)

this doesn’t count as cooking really but the chipotle black bean burgers from don lee farms (we get them at costco) are incredible. i usually make em w frozen fries and microwave steamed broccoli (if u haven’t caught on i love broccoli)

bfast for dinner (pancakes from a box, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, maybe some potatoes)

aaaand i think that’s all i have to say! when in doubt, u can always ALWAYS find a recipe on youtube for literally anything. i hope this was helpful!!!!!!!

my dad watched a netflix video on feminism and was being very profeminism thru the lens of humanism about it

and we got on the subject of transphobic feminists bc i was trying to feel out if it was a transphobic documentary but yea he was very like ‘if someone’s not hurting anybody and can’t change who they are you have no right to try to hurt or change them’ etc and i was like ‘yeah, and you might not understand it but ...’ and he interrupted me, saying, that understanding has nothing to do with it, and that yeah he’s 73 but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t understand everything and he was being a little hyperbolic and defensive because yeah like while he is old and I tend to like hedge my bets about topics we haven’t discussed much, he told me a story about one of his old gay coworkers he had when he was working as a software programmer. about how once they were talking about stuff, probably while eating chicken wings, and he said the man told him that regardless of all the reasons to not be gay or to pretend otherwise, the feeling was real and that that had stuck with my dad. and they all had been chill. and then later there was a potential hire that HR had not wanted because, in coded terms, they said he’d acted qu**r and my dad and some greek guy stuck up for him because they’d liked him, he was honest. during the interview he’d said that he had borrowed the suit he was wearing and when they asked him what his happiest memory was he said him and his partner used to have a bistro in Vancouver where they’d served people and that had made him happy T_T. so my dad and his greek coworker fought for this new hire, and then this new hire and the gay coworker started dating a month or so later T_T and they (incl my dad and other ppl) would all get chickenwings together and chat and shittalk others, and they were all just friends. so my dad was like ‘so don’t tell me i don’t understand’ etc, bc he probably felt patronized but also like we did both cry abt these ppl and how they had just been friends. so anyway my dad says trans rights. and it’s no wonder, because morality and ethics is not a list of values one has to memorize, its a philosophy based on a love for humanity, all the people that make up humanity. if you raise your kid to have, or you choose to make friends/family of people who have, ethics based on love and compassion and affection for human beings, good naturally springs from that.

also today when i was explaining to someone thru email that my dad is getting chemo treatments I cried again like it never becomes less of a big deal for me to tell people, I never get jaded to it.

i ground shark liver into a fine powder and snorted it dissolved it in nitric acid. i showed the powder to one of my labmates and he was like ‘sounds like stuff u’d serve at a fancy resteraunt’ and i was like ‘ye its deconstructed’. really weirdly, the dry powder in HNO3 like... immediately formed a lot of bubbles of like?? idek what - likely because of the production of nitrogen dioxide... but it was super weird looking. the wet digestion (which I hadn’t dried because to dry the shark you have to extract all the oils etc) formed some of those bubbles but not as much - now whether bc there’s less surface area, or if the oils interact some how, or if because despite the extra weight there is less overall meat to dissolve i’m not sure. but yeah, weird.

i also am doing a kind of - paid study session with the university for organic chemistry, and so the toughest organic chemistry professor was forced to compliment me in front of the class >:) i will remember this [redacted]. it’s going to be interesting to try to balance those students, but hopefully it will go well :/ furthermore, because the proff got us all to mute our mics and video, that means i get to like >:) work on other stuff in the background hehe

ALSO. my town is getting smoke from california i believe. the smoke came out so thick today (which like. i kno this means nothing to californians who now live in the 4th circle of hell) that the telephone lines cast a shadow onto the air, the way trees cast stripes of sunlight when the sun is setting behind them ykwim.

((For all the shit I give the epilogues, it does have its moments. Specifically highlighting this bit of dialogue here: ROXY: you think you choice mattered so much that no one elses could measure up? ROXY: n then what ROXY: did u get what u wanted? ROXY: did your life end and the points got tallied and you came out on top or like what? ROXY: still p much seems like were movin to me ROXY: and you sure dont seem like ur winnin so wheres all this good shit you got that you gotta go around handin out apologies for? ROXY: also damn dude while were at it!! ROXY: u forgot to actually say sorry in that apology! JOHN: no, i didn’t — i just meant... JOHN: i’m sorry for fucking up your life, or making it not— ROXY: i like my life!!! ROXY: i mean it aint perf and i got my share of fuckups n mistakes in there but you dont get to tell me its fucked up ROXY: or that it isnt real or somethin ROXY: its mine!

First: criticism. The writers wield this little section like a crude cudgel. They use it to underscore the weight of ‘canon’. This is the ‘candy’ timeline, so it supposedly ‘weighs less’ than the ‘meat’ timeline, but its characters still have meaningful thoughts and emotions. Here, John supposedly makes a choice that supposedly invalidates a bunch of supposedly important events, and Roxy here blows it all out of the water by claiming she made these choices too and that part of the blame rests with her in the direction her life has taken... which is total dogshit used to justify a bunch of really overt swings in character thematic. Continued here: ROXY: you wished i was one way the whole time we were married ROXY: but i wasnt ROXY: but now that youre all convinced ur the only real boy in a crowd o puppets ROXY: here i am bein me just like you ordered only i did it without your help ROXY: widen ur zoom my man!! ROXY: im not actin like this now because you want me to or bc you dont want me to ROXY: i was bad at standin up for myself then and im learnin to be good at it now ROXY: ive got my own self actualization train ROXY: ur just pullin in to one of my many roxy figures some shit out stations right as i built it JOHN: but... JOHN: you were never like that before i... ROXY: dude ROXY: where tf do u get off trying to decide what is or isnt me being “like me” enuff ROXY: do u think ppl stay the same their whole damn lives or what JOHN: you’ve really never felt like anything about our lives here was... off? ROXY: off from what exactly?? JOHN: the way things should be? ROXY: what does that mean???

Roxy here argues that there is no ‘one right way to be’ as a half-baked wink to the audience that all this gross mischaracterization is intentional and that it diverges so grossly from the established character arcs in order to demonstrate that nothing is set in stone. While technically true, this also makes for some pretty terrible writing.

Roxy was a caring, almost too involved individual before the epilogues. Her ditching Calliope for John and this messy marriage business and just letting Jane warp into a full-blown dictator makes no sense, even couched within the idea that ‘characters change.’ Yes, characters change, but there’s generally a reason for it! And not a shitty deus ex machina reason such as ‘John makes a choice!’ What even fucking happened to Candy Calliope anyway? She just fucked off somewhere? How do you sincerely throw a character away like that and then have the gall to wink at the audience as if what you’ve done makes sense? Changes in character are generally brought on by catalysts in their life! Trauma, joy, death, new settings, new ideas, events! Not... John deciding to eat a plate full of candy. If we had insight into Roxy’s thought process behind ditching Calliope and marrying John and having a kid on a whim, this might be saved. But we don’t even get a glimpse. Instead we’re pawned this shitty excuse for a very glaring departure from what we knew about Roxy. Character development is just that -- development! As in to become more complex or advanced! Roxy has made wrong choices in the past, yes, but her reasoning was laid bare in such a way that those wrong choices made sense for her to make. She then makes different decisions later because she learned from her wrong decisions. This is development! Her character is learning and changing behavior because of the things they’ve been through! Her reasoning for this awful series of bad choices is just... not explained, despite going against a ton of shit Roxy has learned. It’s slipshod. It’s careless. It’s sacrificing the tree to showcase the topper. The audience isn’t vested in this Roxy because she’s seemingly robbed of her agency, and then they’re trying to foist this idea that she somehow still has agency on us as if they didn’t preface the entire timeline with ‘well, all this shit is going to happen because we decided it and no other reason!’

Now: the praise. This bit of dialogue has huge implications for ‘non-canon’ dynamic. No, not ‘non-canon’ in the cheeky way the epilogues and HS2 claim to be ‘non-canon.’ I mean ‘non-canon’ as in this blog that I run and all the blogs that you, the reader, are writing and reading as well. Roxy’s insistence that characters change can swing the other way, too. Characters can develop in bad ways as well! Not bad as in bad writing, but bad as in flawed character reasoning! Suppose what Roxy learned from her time in HS1 was that most things can be solved by unvoiding fix-all solutions into existence? Then we might be able to see her trying to fix the human-troll-population issue by just... making more planets! Or unvoiding some sort of device trolls could wear that inhibits hivemind tendencies! That would be interesting and perhaps morbid to write about!! It would at least track with her past experiences!!! Or better yet: perhaps she actually takes a side against Jane (as she has done in the past) but instead of using their friendship as the moral plating, she went right into sarcastic arguments FOR eugenics to demonstrate how bigoted Jane was being? That’s a very Roxy thing to do!! She could have made the argument that if trolls need eugenics to suppress their violent tendencies, then so should humans! Having read about the Condesce’s eugenic practices during her formative years, this should have been fairly obvious to Roxy that what Jane was suggesting was from the same playbook, at least.

But I digress. What this bit of dialogue really does is give credence to us, the audience, in exploring these stories we’re currently writing for these pre-established characters. YES, canon Rose likely didn’t dabble so thoroughly in game magics, and she likely didn’t have as much anxiety as my Rose. BUT I prefaced my Rose’s current state with a bunch of events that make sense! She missed her rendezvous with the others! She had to float adrift, alone in a broadcast satellite, for nigh on a decade! She’s had a long fucking time to develop all these anxieties and mental illness because that’s what happens when you’re isolated for years! It is a tool I use to express my own anxieties and explore how someone might somehow overcome them! And most importantly: she’s still Rose. She has unprocessed mother issues. She cherishes her friends. She’s more than a bit gay. And she knows when the meta is using her and when it’s not, because she’s had a traumatic experience being used by Doc Scratch as a plot device. And that trauma isn’t going away (well, unless she gets therapy, but given the setting we’re writing... not likely), so she’s going to be overly cautious when it comes to big decisions involving her friends. What she’s not going to do is suddenly abandon everyone she’s departed from because uhhh Jade ate some bread the wrong way or whatever.

tl;dr: What this section of the epilogues/HS2 (well, really just this bit with Harry Andersen, Tavros, and Vrissy that is somehow more interesting than virtually EVERY OTHER PART of HS2) is telling us, the audience, is that it is good to diverge from canon. Non-canon characters will still have very real feelings and face very real consequences for their actions. Just... don’t do it like they did it. All these characters we’re writing for and all these events we’re writing around them... they’re valid! They matter! Just because they’re not canon doesn’t mean others are willing and wanting to read them, and that makes them important! Unfortunately, this also means the epilogues/HS2 are important, but let’s ignore that for now. What I’m trying to say is: be indulgent! Write the things you want to write! As long as they’re well-reasoned, they’re good writing! Characters can be overpowered! They can be cliche! They can have teenage problems as an adult! Just... give them a good reason.))

First ration of home-delivered locally sourced groceries!

I doubt that the Maracuja for the yoghurt was "locally sourced" but im willing to forgive that bc its a big jar of joghurt and I wish to eat it, imma have it with the Muesli and it shall be tomorrow's breakfast. The Mozarella is probably going into the Salad.

I presume Salad lasts longer if its still on the plant, the shops dont have it in the fridges but I should probably eat it first.

As you might see its all organic simply because most such "get fresh local veggies delivered" services sell organic stuff. I think thats a bit overhyped and often not that much better when you do the math, though at least throwing less pesticides into the groundwater and higher standards for how the animals are kept seem like good ideas in my book.

I need to find out what you even do with three sticks of fresh rhubarb🤔

To my great joy the cheese was more plentiful than expected. I was wondering if the amount was going to be too little or too much but now I do think that I've got a solid weekly ration of nom stuff here. I will make my final veridict next tuesday of course after ive actually cooked it all; mostly I just wanted to do something different for the heck of it.

Its a tad more expensive but not by that much im hoping to actually save $$ by making my food costs flatter and less variable/ up to my whims. (while also avoiding that thing where the last week of the month is mostly noodles) The total cost was not that much higher than what id normally blow in the shop. It certainly all looks very fresh those are dome handsome apples, I suppose I will see if its any better than the stuff in the super market. I suppose it spent less time being flown in from China or South Africa as a lot of vegetables these days so if I taste any difference it might simply be due to being fresher.

The Salami I think is also from nearby, or so the website says but since Salami is already a preserved/ processed product that should not make a difference, though for that price (8 bux for all the meat products) I would hope that its a quality Salami like the salamis you can sometimes buy at farmer's markets or city fairs. Those sometimes have enough flavor that you can pretty much eat it on its own - I think in the olden days ppl often used Salami and the like as travel provisions.

so, in the South (US), we have very strong feelings about biscuits. they are flaky, they are delicious, and they make Sunday Dinner (which is a whole Thing) complete. there are many ways to eat them.

biscuits and gravy, usually sausage gravy (but gravy does not usually have meat in it in my experience, ex. if you're putting it on mashed potatoes)

biscuits and jam/jelly/other fruit preserves (btw my grandma makes the best homemade strawberry jam in the UNIVERSE)

I don't normally put that much jam on one biscuit, but I think it's personal preference and it photographs better

just a plain buttered biscuit, nothing fancy, but simple and elegant in its own delicious way

once again, that's a lot of butter, and I prefer less of it and it melting into a hot biscuit--but this photographs better

I used to have more but i gave some of them away so i dont feel like i should mention them here (even if those designs are not in use anymore)

1) Saph the hedgehog

This is Saph. He’s a 18/19 year old disaster gay trans boy.

I change his shoe design literally every single time i draw him. :)

I’ll go in depth about his past later.

Saph is pretty much all over the place and forgets to be considerate of other peoples feelings sometimes. He might come off as very egoistic of self centered, but he does actually care in his own kind of way (even when its. kinda bad bc he gives off wrong signals sometimes and ends up hurting people hes close to)

He’s looked up to Sonic ever since he was small and he collects all of the Sonic comics and video games. His dream is to meet Sonic and win against him in a fight.

Shadow is his big idol in many things so he tries to be edgy sometimes or act tough but he fails miserably most of the time and makes a fool of himself; which he doesn’t really mind because he can take a lot of things with humour (sometimes too much). He also uses white eye liner to imitate shadows marks, and he dyes some parts of his fur white to make the marks he already has extend to look more like shadows.

Shadow was the person that taught him how to control his chaos powers, because he’d always just weakened himself in the past, because he is super unstable. (If it wasnt for Shadow he probably would have died by now.) Shadow also was the one that told Saph to go to Tails for help with the buckles on his wrists and the rings on his ankles. They are made of a material similar to shadows rings (tails tried his best to replicate them) so they would help keep the energy in Saph balanced. Due to his strong affiliation to Chaos Energy, he could technically even turn super; but his body would be unable to hold the immense amount of energy and begin to literally burn down to ash within a few minutes.

He is very gay and in a relationship with Ezra.

He’s on T and has not yet had top op. (his bobbies smol its all muscle >:3€ )

2) Red the hedgehog

Red is 25/26 years old and works at GUN as special agent. Sometimes he and Rouge get drunk in her club at night and joke about tearing that organization down (or maybe they are not joking)

he’s pansexual and horny 24/7. He has a girlfriend and is in an open relationship. hes polyam if you didnt guess it askdsajh

he’s blind in the right eye and has a tattoo of a star on his chest

(here’s his gijinka because i just. hes hot. he used to be the one character that had like 30 fangirls on deviantart and each of them would comment “nosebleed” every time i uploaded)

ANYWAYS

Saph and Red. They are brothers.

*WARNING: abusive parents, transphobia, homophobia, violence

When red was a young lad and Saph was still a baby their father snapped and beat Red up with an iron bar, making him blind on his right eye. Red took Saph and ran away from home.(Their mother died at saphs birth)

They lived and still live in a city a litte farther off Empire City.

Red decided to go to an orphanage because he could not possibly take care of an infant. (granted his dad couldnt either but it seemed the best possible solution)

They lived in the orphanage for a few years, but saph very soon showed sighns of being trans and got bullied by the other kids. they would call him gay and tr*nny and kick him until he fell silent to endure his “punishment”.

Red couldn’t take it and decided to run away with Saph again. They lived on the street for a while, but Red was caught by GUN for stealing. Once they found out he had a form of chaos powers (even if weak) they decided to let him slide and hire him as Special Agent.

Red accepted this and uses the money he ears to make sure Saph has a good life. This kinda spoiled Saph a little, but he also deserved it lets be real here.

Red made sure to enable saph to get education (which he totally refuses to acknowledge and take seriously) and physical transition.

3) Ellectra “Ellie” the tenrec

[ pardon me being inconsequent with the design omg ]

Ellie is a 20 year old functional asexual demiromantic lesbian who is not interested in dumb boys and would rather talk about science with a pretty girl.

She can manipulate electricity and is called “Daughter of Zeus” by the townsfolk in her home island called Coral Island, which is located near the windsmil isles in Apotos.

She studies archeology and gaia mythology/ancient history, which makes it very convenient that she lives nearby an actual gaia temple. (She wants to be like lara croft one day)

At the 2005 black arms invasion her mother got heavily wounded when she tried to protect the town from the aliens and died from the aftermath.

Ever since then Ellie hates Shadow with a burning passion and holds him responsible, because she believed the government propaganda (provided by GUN ofc) that Shadow is One Of The Aliens. If she was ever to meet him she would be FURIOUS and ready to murder (she knows he cant die though).

She tried not to focus too much on that and just. do her cool ancient stuff.

Here are her parents Chion and... the mother i had still not found a good name for.

5) Chion the tenrec

This gentleman is 40+ years old and proud father of Ellie.

Hes also a het ace.

Chion is greek for snow (as far as google translate goes) and he was named that bc of his white nose lmao. its like a snowflake on his black body.

He doesn’t have any elemental powers, but he is naturally very strong and will punch anyone who comes close to his family. He can also use swords and is a skilled swordsman.

He inherited an olive farm from his family and he does keep it going. He makes his money selling olive products he does make himself.

6) Athena the hedgehog

Athena was the daughter of the “major” of the island that the family lived on (coral island), so she was expected to become the new major once he had to retire.

Due to the location of the island and the geographical landmarks on it, many raiders (and also eggman) have great interest in the ruins and mythological places. Athena is not one to give in easily and defended her people and the island from many intruders.

She possessed a less particular (than Ellie), but still fierce power of lightning manipulation. Having used her powers excessively, she sustained severe damage to her arms which showed as lighting shaped scars. She showed them with pride, because they meant she had fought hard to get where she was now.

She was bisexual and married to a tenrec called Chion. She was a year older than him.

The rings Ellie wears on her wrists were her mom’s.

7) Frost the snow leopard

Frost is a 15 year old demiboy who really just wants to have a good time. He hasnt really given his sexuality much thought.

He lives in a small village in Holoska; hes actually even met the werehog. Well he saw him. but he was too afraid to talk to him because holy shit its Sonic The Hedgehog!!!!!!!

He has ice powers!!!!

His insides are like -18°C and he cant eat anything that is hot. He has to eat cooked meals when they are room temperature, or even cooled down to fridge temperatures ( about 6°C).

He basically lives off ice cream and dry meat (if they get fancy food from the city he gets frozen pizza) He thinks of going to the UF for college, but he doesnt really know what he wants to do with his life yet so hes just having fun snowboarding.

8) Mitzu the Cheetah

Mitzu is 22 years old and owns a flower shop/chao garden combo where she takes care of chao, while taking care of flowers and breeding them. Her hydrokinesis powers are very helpful in that!

She loves nature and the outdoors and feeling the grass under her feet, so she doesn’t wear shoes/socks. Ever.

She generally is very free spirited and optimistic!

Shes a big sapphic but shes also okay w being single atm.

Her chao are like children to her and she loves the chao that get left in the garden as much as her own. (ppl leave their chao there when they cant watch over them anymore or if they go for a vacation and cant take them with them or smth)

9) Dan the red panda*

Dan is 17 years old and a big homo.

He has no special powers, except being able to eat and sleep more than the average person.

He’s from a very rich family, but his parents insisted in him finding a wife to like. pass down the heritage but he aint having none of that so his punk ass ran away from home to be his gay self and study art. 

He lives in a tree house a little off a small village in a more rural area in east UF, near station square. let the depression boy be happy...

10) Yoshi the siamese cat

Yoshi is a 20 year old enby kitty who wants to make the world a gayer place!

They are studying fashion design in hope to one day open their own fashion store for queer people! The clothes are made with body differences in mind and they also want to offer a free customization service to fit clothes to every single body type.

They don’t have any special powers as of now but i kinda want to give them a power that could be helpful with their goal Im still thinking about it ...

11) Joel “Spirit” the Husky

Spirit is fresh ripe 14 years old and Sonic the hedgehog is his big big idol. He wants to be JUST like him when he grows up.

It has come to my attention that he is basically the sonic universe Deku and I may or may not be planning to write a fanfiction for that...........

He doesn’t have any special offensive powers, but he has orange blood and he has the ability to read the Chaos Signature of anything he encounters. (called: Chaos Vision)

This means he will immediately know if a person he meets has super powers and he will also know what that power is. He can also guess the emotions of people because they are tied to the kind of chaos energy that surrounds a person.

12) Aurora the Husky

Spirit’s Sister!

Her name is Aurora and she also has Chaos Vision!

She was born blind, but she’s been able to see with her power, so that’s just what the world looks like to her: Darkness with many many colorful lights.

Over time through hard training she was able to perfect her vision and be able to distinguish between a lot of things and even see things that only have very little chaos energy in them!

13) Axel the Axolotl*

I don’t really have much info on them I made them pretty random one day bc i thought. hey. .... what if... axolotl sonic character.

14) Azul the cat

Azul is my sonicsona kinda. He was pmuch my persona b4 i was kin w shadow. 

He’s an edgelord and i guess he’s still technically me; or rather what i want to be. 

He’s already on T and has has top op and he does not crumble away under social anxiety like i do askjdsakjd.

Similar to Axel I didn’t think much about him yet......  

he’s aroace and kinda goofy but he cares for his friends. He can roll up and do spin dashes and homing attacks like sonic, but he obviously doesnt have his super sonic speed.

16) Coal the hedgehog

Coal is one of the newest of my characters; but he’s also one of my oldest. 

You see, Coal is a revamp of a very old crappy fanchild i had back in like 2012.

New Coal is 27 years old and a gay mess. He can turn into a cloud of smoke and control it at will. He is completely immune to physical attacks. try to stab/shoot him and u ded. hes coming for u.

Nia is the daughter of a shamaran professor and a woman who owns a boulongerie in spagonia. She joined the ARK program in hope to make the world a more accepting place.

Hikari is is from an island near chun-nan (japan) and she also joined the program in hope to be able to help make a change for the better. she also enjoys biology and genetics a lot.

Theodor joined purely because of his joy in working on genetics and robotics that immitate life. He’s innitially from the GUN team but was assigned to work with Gerald.

20) Commander Jonathan Williams

old art again sorry sakjfhsakj. He is the father of the current GUN commander! He’s 52 and a total douchebag. He’s kinda mad with power and genuinely believes that putting shadow under pressure to become the ultimate and strongest weapon (stronger than an atomic bomb) was necessary to end the war that was going on at that time.

21) Sidus “Nova” the black panther (and 22 Badass the Chao)

You see. The thing with nova is that i recycled him as human/demon character for a story sjkhfkafhsakj but he has shadow powers where he can use all shadows as portals into a shadow dimension that is entirely his own. he can travel through that but it makes him very tired. he likes to store capri suns in there and just take em out whenever he wants. He has a Chao called Badass (pictured below)

She is new and I don’t have much info other than that she’s from a jungle area; perhaps in adabat.

She secrets a poisonous slime from her body; yet her spit has healing accelerating properties.

A gene defect lets her never lose her tail.

For the @solarpunkstoryexchange Prompt: solarpunk in SPACE (in space colonies, in deep space)

Author notes: I got really excited about the prompt, but fell a bit short due to not being able to work out a plot or time to write. Because of these reasons, this has been mostly left on the brainstorming stage - It starts with a bit of a story and changes into brainstorming bullet points, which span about 3 generations (or more) of people living in the place. I hope you enjoy reading it!

A couple wants a kid. Or, to be more precise, a lesbian couple on the Mars colony decides they want to try getting a kid. Their friends and local colleagues agree to the plan. The Mars colony is a close-knit community, and they collectively decide that they will love and support the kid, whatever they are like. Whether they are rowdy or quiet. Whether they’re scientific or artistic. Whatever gender they are. Whether they're disabled or not.

The earth control doesn't like the idea, but they can't control what the Martians do, only do their best to adapt and help.

The first try- no. Second - another loss. Every pregnancy is keeping the whole Mars base at their toes. Constant checkups. Mental wellbeing regulated as well as physical health. The possibly pregnant woman is given less intense work and sports. She isn't allowed out of the areas with best radiation screening. She does still work, she has to, but she also spends a lot of time studying various things. Stuff about pregnancy, about children, but also music and literature and other kinds of arts. About all kinds of problems that may arise, but also about how to best take care of a child in general.

Her wife does a lot of studying, too, just as everyone else on the base. But she also takes the extra time to be with her pregnant partner. In all honesty, so does everyone. In some way, the child will be all of theirs. While in some way, they will be a child of all of humanity.

When the pregnancy doesn't end near the beginning, and then continues well for months, they are hopeful. And when a baby is born, after several years of trying, the Mars base celebrates. And far away, people on Earth celebrate the first human born off-planet.

As a small kid, the Mars-born child is unaware of their celebrity status on Earth. They will learn what it means, but not yet.

Exchange students bring lots of Earth stuff with them. Some personal items, but mostly small things. For all, some spices not grown on mars, and other stuff they may need/ want / have requested.

Exchange students/new residents, how many? Five or ten? An nb person too!

Had lots of stuff to digitally read when on long travel. Travel is tiring and they ate mostly packed food bc it’s easy in zero-gravity (but also fresh vegetables that grow fast, and stuff grown in poo made compost - or is it just collected for use in mars? Probs. Other grown veggies)

Getting to know each other on the flight, also gotten to know each other on the before-launch stuff. One had to drop out at the last minute due to health problems :(

When on mars: “whoa there’s gravity!! How do I get used to this again??”

People of different professions. Some doctor, some scientist, some engineer, some person person like psychologist or smth

People exercise but also do crafts. Lots of 3d-printed stuff. Games!! Also on space flight! Full body sport games! Brain games! Very regular favorite games!

Lots of lag on online stuff though :( But lesser quality = ok and faster

So much focus on learning. And everyone got to do something, whatever they can. Even if they’d rather do art? Are ppl forced to exercise? Ableism what? How much is there of it?

Growing lights and lamps. Some, in living areas, syntethise daylight and night, some, in agricultural areas, are continuously on

Mostly plants that are small but wield lots of fast food, but some less fast food for special treats (like fruits from small pruned “bonsai trees")

A large open hall for sports, including stuff like soccer, tennis, and various team sports

At first the place is very small. It grows. The amount of ppl grows from less than 10 to more than 30. When the exchange students come, more than 50 - maybe around 70?

Someone rich gets there with their money? But is made to learn to do work and use the money not for themself but for the community. Is taught social and coworking skills etc.

Most people: problem? Research!

Several do digital art to some degree - or blog! Blog a lot. Or tweet or such. Videos! Of what life on Mars is like. Everyone must be aware that the public is interested.

Most time is spent in public areas. Work is often done in small groups. All specialised in something, but can do basics in everything.

Solar panels! Lots! On top of where the hub is underground.

Marswalks done rarely, and remote-controlled robots are used a lot. Robo bees! Roombas! Farming robots!

“Exchange students" the first few with not much previous experience. A bit less that 200 into tests, then maybe a hundred into further ed and evaluation, then a few dozen into training. Finally, about 10 best chosen. This way, younger people. Around 25 to 30 when to Mars. With a few more qualified people.

Biologists manage gardens. Engineers manage repairing and building new and 3d-printers.  Doctors manage health. Chemists manage various stuff. Earth can always tell info and such when needed.

Downloaded books, online searches and videos though slow-ish to load. Calls and video conferences. New clothes from hemp grown on Mars!

Induction stove. Lots of food made by once. Stable food: beans? Sugar from where? GMO is used a lot. Sugar beets? Lots of new seeds brought every time something arrives - about every 2.5 years or longer. Good thing: no/few pests. Not many animals, possibly rats?

Most walls filled with stuff, esp. in older areas. Everyone owns not too many clothes. Maybe up to 5 outfits. Every time stuff is brought, they can wish for some. Not much though. A lot is 3d-printed on-site. Few personal belongings - most is co-owned. Works when there are few people and everyone knows everyone.

Baby gets clothes, most made of stuff grown on mars. Cutting made so it doesn’t trash fabric. Clothes are mended because making new takes a lot of resources. Kids’ clothes made a few sizes too big or so they can be easily expanded when they grow.

When exchange students come, there are a few kids. Maybe 3 who were born on Mars.

Kids are familiarized with work on Mars. Curriculum specialised for life on Mars. Made in unison with teaching experts on earth. No rigid school days, but a lot of learning. To work with the adults, though with an extra person to make sure they don’t mess things up.

A lot is automated. Taking care of the automated stuff is important.

Kids are not let into older parts. There are lots of things they may accidentally pull, and worse radiation filtering. They have some toys, 3d-printed. A few plushies, part or mostly made of extra fabric scraps

Space travel done in sleeping bags, they keep them when they come to mars.

Phones/laptops/equivalent for all. VR for games and learning! AR glasses?

Jewelry? Someone likes making it. Clothes, too - and customising! Recipes have to be fitted for Mars. Some people love trying them out.

Kid has a bit bad eyesight.

There have been a few generations. Maybe this is the third gen. Someone child of one of the first marsborns. Is older - in 20s or 30s or smth

There is a growing community. Mostly scientists. But maybe a few other professions there too

Someone gets to make food! Communal eating almost daily or more - lunch or dinner? Dinner probably. Lunch often in work groups

Cultural feasts and celebrations are shared if applicable. Seasonings are valuable

Lots is made in laboratory. Even food like meat, but mostly medications etc.

People have to do some work and learn new stuff as long as they can. However most get significant osteoporosis when older. Eyesight loss is another difficulty, but there is an optical station that can make glasses. Things also start being adjusted for use with reduced eyesight.

Should it be somewhere else than Mars?

Over the years, parts of the base are adjusted to become as natural as possible, introducing new species into their ecosystem. Main agricultural areas are kept hydroponics, and some get turned into aquaponics systems (=includes fish, which also can occasionally be used as food)

Settlement at around equator or at middle to pole, on a flat area

Room- or apartment-like parts connected to each other by hallways. Old parts and newer parts. 1 floor and sometimes 2 OR MORE!!Like a department store!! Especially some housing areas. Or like a cruise ship with a “promenade" and rooms with windows there? Elevators?

Climbing is loved and easy because of the lower gravity, but it needs to be made safe because breaking a bone is very not good.
